Ulipur Primary School Football Tournament 2024 held

The inaugural game and prize distribution ceremony of the "Primary School Gold Cup Football Tournament" was held at the initiative of Ulipur Upazila of Kurigram.

The game was held at Ulipur Maharani Swarnamoyi School and College ground at 10:00 AM on Monday (January 5).

Chief guest, Ulipur Upazila Executive Officer, (acting) Kazi Mahmudur Rahman, special guest, Fatema Nargis, Dr. Shahidul Islam, Deputy Assistant Health Officer.

The program began with the performance of the national anthem and hoisting of the national flag. The national flag was hoisted by the Upazila Executive Officer, Acting Kazi Mahmudur Rahman. Then the Holy Quran was recited and the Gita was recited. Then the Upazila Executive Officer, Acting Kazi Mahmudur Rahman, delivered a brief speech and declared the program open. At this time, Jahangir Sardar, Acting Principal of Ulipur Maharani Swarnamoyi School and College, gave a brief speech.

He said, I could not have imagined that so many people would gather for this game. No quarrels can be made in the game from the beginning to the end. He also instructed the game management committee to keep a close eye on the deterioration of law and order.

Two teams participated in this inaugural game, Gunaigach Primary School and Pandul Primary School. Gunaigach Primary School won this 30-minute long game.
