Two arrested with 100 bottles of Phensidyl in a raid by DB police in Narail. Narail District Detective Police has arrested two drug dealers named Md. Shahabuddin Islam (31) and Md. Al Miraj (19), who are involved in drug trade. The arrested Md. Shahabuddin Islam (31) is the son of Md. Kamal Hossain of Bastipara under Municipality No. 8 of Jibon Nagar Police Station in Chuadanga district and Md. Al Miraj (19) is the son of Md. Raihan Islam of Daulatganj Para under Municipality No. 8 of Jibon Nagar Police Station in Chuadanga district. Ujjwal Roy, District Representative from Narail, said that on the night of January 10, they were arrested from Narail on the paved road leading to Magura in front of the main gate of the Gochar Upazila Land Office in Ward No. 4 of Sadar Thana Municipality of Narail district. Based on a secret tip-off, Narail District Detective Branch Officer-in-Charge Md. Shahadara Khan PPM, under the supervision of SI (Retd) Md. Titu Ali, along with his accompanying force, conducted a raid and arrested Md. Shahabuddin Islam (31) and Md. Al Miraj (19). At that time, one hundred bottles of phensidyl were seized from the arrested accused. A case has been registered under the Narcotics Control Act at Narail Sadar Police Station in this regard. The accused has been handed over to the learned court. The district police is working sincerely to make Narail drug-free under the direction of Narail District Superintendent of Police Kazi Ehsanul Kabir.
