Social Service Day Celebration 2025 in Ulipur, Kurigram

"No one is next to those who have social service" National Social Service Day 2025 was celebrated in Ulipur, Kurigram with the slogan in mind.

The program was inaugurated by releasing balloons in the upazila premises on Thursday morning, organized by the Upazila Social Service Office.

After the inauguration, a rally was taken out. The rally circled the main gates of the city and a short discussion meeting was held again at the Upazila Social Service Office.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kazi Mahmudur Rahman (acting) Ulipur, Kurigram was present as the chief guest. Among others present were Upazila Social Service Officer Md. Lutfar Rahman, Upazila Cooperative Officer Md. Saifur Rahman, Upazila Women's Affairs Officer Sakhina Begum, along with employees of various departments of the upazila and representatives of the Ulipur Upazila Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, representatives of voluntary organizations, presidents and editors of private orphanages receiving capitation grants, various service recipients, and journalists from print and electronic media. After a brief discussion, medicines were distributed among the poor and helpless patients and checks were distributed among the loan recipients.
