National Social Service Day celebrated in Senbagh, Noakhali

National Social Service Day titled "Open Discussion on Welfare State" was celebrated in Senbagh, Noakhali in a responsible manner.

On Thursday (January 2) afternoon, National Social Service Day titled "Open Discussion on Welfare State" was celebrated in the upazila premises of Senbagh, Noakhali.

It is learned that the discussion at the program titled "Open Discussion on Welfare State" was conducted by Senbagh Upazila Executive Officer Md. Mohiuddin, who was present at the conclusion of the discussion, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Upazila Social Service Officer Md. Borhan Uddin moderated the discussion.

It is also known that local dignitaries, political leaders and leaders of social organizations were present.

Local journalists were not invited to the program called Kalyanrastra Chintay Mukta Adda on the occasion of National Social Service Day. It is also known that at the end of the program called Kalyanrastra Chintay Mukta Adda, leaders of some social organizations who flattered were awarded at the Upazila Social Service Office. Md. Borhan Uddin ended the program called Kalyanrastra Chintay Mukta Adda on his own accord without informing the journalists to reward the flatterers. When this reporter informed the social service officer on his mobile phone, he did not give any answer. Did the journalists of Senbagh not play any role in social service? Local media workers of Senbagh demand that the concerned higher authorities take appropriate action regarding the program of the responsible group.
