National Social Service Day celebrated in Sonatala

Shakil Ahmed, (Bogra) Correspondent: Bogra Sonatala Upazila Administration and Upazila Social Service Office organized a walkathon, rally, open discussion and prize distribution to mark the National Social Service Day.

On Thursday morning, January 2, a rally was held within the upazila to mark the National Social Service Day. Present at the time were Upazila Executive Officer, Satish Pramanik, Upazila Agriculture Officer, Sohrab Hossain, Upazila Social Service Officer, Jasim Uddin, Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Miladun Nabi, Women Affairs Officer, Mainul Haque, employees and students of the social service office.

Later, on August 5, a walkathon competition was held for students who participated in the anti-discrimination student movement. After the open discussion at the Upazila Executive Office, Upazila Executive Officer Satish Pramanik handed over the prizes to the walkathon competitors.
