UP member killed in Narail, main accused arrested within a short time.

A female member of reserved wards 1, 2 and 3 of Maijpara Union No. 1 under Sadar Police Station of Narail, she went to the house of the victim's friend Sahida Begum (40), husband- Muktar Molya, in Daulatpur village of Maijpara Union with her friend Rajibul on 24/12/2024 from approximately 16:25 pm to approximately 18:05 pm. Then, in the house next to Sahida, 1. Faruk (50), father-Osman, 2. Chanchal (35), father-deceased: Sattar, 3. Shafiqul (33), father-Shahid, Sarbasang-Daulatpur, 4. Kibria (50), father unknown, Sang-Rampur, Sarva Thana and District-Narail went to Sahida Begum's house and asked who was in the house. Then the victim opened the door. They asked who else was with her, then Basna said there was no one. In the meantime, Rajibul summoned them and ran away. It is initially known that Faruk, Chanchal, Shafiqul, Kibria caught the victim from inside the house and took her to the nearby forest and raped her in turn. That night, when the victim vomited at her house and fell ill, her family members took her to Dhalgram Bazar for treatment and got primary treatment from a village doctor. Later, when the victim's physical condition deteriorated, the victim's relatives informed him that he had consumed poison on 25/12/2024 at 17:30 PM for better treatment and admitted him to Jessore 250-bed General Hospital and the victim died while undergoing treatment at 12:15 AM on 27/12/2024. The Jessore Kotwali Police Station informed Narail Sadar Police Station through a radio message regarding the victim's death, verifying his name and address and the cause of poisoning.

A case is under process in this incident. On the instructions of Narail District Superintendent of Police Kazi Ehsanul Kabir, police patrols were intensified in the area and the police were quick to arrest the accused involved in the murder. The force led by Narail Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Sajedul Islam and accompanied by SI Ali Hossain of Cyber Crime Investigation Cell was able to arrest the mastermind of the incident, Md. Faruk Molla (50), father- Md. Osman Molla, resident- Daulatpur, police station and district- Narail on December 28 (Saturday). Multiple teams of the district police are working to arrest the other accused.
