Jubo Dal leader's death in Kurigram's opponent's attack

Ashraful Islam (1), joint convenor of the municipal youth of Ulipur upazila of Kurigram, was killed in a clash between two leaders of the BNP group at Ulipur police station in Kurigram.
In the incident, five injured were injured in Rangpur Hospital.
The clash took place at the police station on Friday evening (December 26).
The deceased was Ashraful Islam, the only son of Ayal Haque in Kazi Chak area, ward no. He is reported to be a supporter of the district BNP president and the newly announced convening committee member Tasvirul Islam.
Talking to police and BNP leaders, it was reported that the clash took place between supporters of the district BNP former president Tasvirul Islam and organizational secretary Abdul Khalek, including Rangpur Divisional.
Attempts were being made to resolve a non -political issue between some leaders of both sides in the police station's round room. Ashraful leader Ashraful tried to stop the conflict when the clash between the two parties began. He was seriously injured in the midst of the beatings. When he was taken to Ulipur Upazila Health Complex, the duty doctor declared him dead.
Before the clash, the two parties meeting in the police station could not be confirmed what the meeting was held. Police did not immediately give any information about this.
Ashraful confirmed the death of Ashraful but was not injured in the clash. They say Ashraful probably had a stroke. He suddenly became ill while watching the two -party fights standing near the gate of the police station. Later, he was taken to the hospital and the doctor declared him dead.
A member present at the meeting, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that at one point of the discussion, Ashraful fell to the ground. When our men took him to the hospital, the doctor declared him dead.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Manzoor Murshed said that one person was taken to the hospital after the clash. Several people are injured. The civil surgeon could not immediately give any information on the question of injury to the victim's body.

Ulipur Police Station Officer -in -Charge (OC) Zillur Rahman said, "I was on vacation. Not inside the police station, I heard that there was a clash between two groups of BNP near the police station.
Ashraful Islam's father Md. Ayanal Haque, who died at Ulipur police station, filed an case in the name of 20 people.

Until the last news, tensions were prevailing in the city of Ulipur upazila. Police and concerned said the incident was being investigated and subsequent steps were being taken.
