The body of the missing child was found in a sack in Teknaf

The police recovered the body of a child (7) in a sack near a house in Cox's Bazar border upazila Teknaf Shahparirdwip.


He went missing while playing sports around 9am on Saturday (September 21). Later at 8 pm, the body was recovered in front of some houses in Dwip Dangar neighborhood of Shahpari.

The dead child is from Shahparir Dwip West Para. Jalil's daughter Tahmina Akhtar (7),

Locals said that Tahmina went missing while playing sports around 9 am on Saturday. After much search, the matter was reported to the police. After 11 hours at around 8 pm, some youths were first scared when they saw the sack in front of Lalu's house in Dangar, Shahparidwip. Then it was identified as a body and informed to the police. The police went and recovered the body.

Teknaf Model Police Station OC Muhammad Ghiyas Uddin said that the body of a child was found in a sack in Shahparir Dwip. Efforts are on to find those involved in the murder.
