Superintendent of Police Kazi Ehsanul Kabir is the son of a noble Muslim family of Sadar police station in Pabna district. He passed 27th BCS Police Cadre and joined Bangladesh Police. During his career as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Police Headquarters, Dhaka; Mymensingh Sadar, Mymensingh District; Served at 6 APBN, Barisal. Sirajganj Circle of Sirajganj District as Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police; Begumganj Circle of Noakhali District; DMP successfully served in POM North Division in Dhaka. He also completed BANFPU-2, Darfur, Sudan mission as Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police. Bangladesh Police Academy, Sarada, Rajshahi as Additional Superintendent of Police; Served in Finance and Development Wing at Police Headquarters. He was last working as Superintendent of Police, PBI, Bogra District.

He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in urban and regional planning from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka. The Superintendent of Police is the father of two sons.
