A case has been filed against former MP cricket star Mashrafe Bin Mortaza in Narail. In the case, Mashrafe's father Golam Mortza Swapan, district and upazila Awami League leaders and 90 people have been accused. 400-500 people have been named unknown defendants in the case.
Sadar Upazila BNP Member Secretary Sheikh Mustafa Al-Mujahidur Rahman Palash filed the case at Narail Sadar Police Station on Tuesday (September 10) night.
Other accused in the case include District Awami League President Advocate Subas Chandra Bose, General Secretary Nizam Uddin Khan Nilu, Municipal Panel Mayor Kazi Zahirul Islam, Sadar Upazila Awami League President Achin Chakraborty, General Secretary Malay Kundu, District Jubo League President Advocate Gauchul Azam Masum, General 90 people including editor Khokon Kumar Saha.
It is mentioned in the statement that around 2.30 pm on August 4, 400-500 armed terrorists including the accused and other unidentified armed terrorists gathered at Narail intersection in a pre-planned illegal alliance with domestic and firearms including ramadas, knives, Chinese axes, iron rods, shotguns, guns-pistols, hand bombs. by doing At that time, when the innocent people including the parents of the anti-discrimination students and the activists of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and organ organizations reached the east of the bridge towards the city with a procession demanding the resignation of the dictatorial Sheikh Hasina government, the accused fired their shotguns and created panic. Meanwhile, the peace activists were brutally assaulted and hacked with sharp weapons and bomb blasts.
Confirming the case, Narail Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Saiful Islam said that the case was recorded on September 10 around 8:30 pm. The case papers will be sent to the court on September 11.
