Distribution of relief materials by Islamic Front Bangladesh among Ban residents in Noakhali

Rased Billah Chishti: Life in Noakhali has been disrupted due to continuous heavy rains.

Many houses were washed away. Many are trapped in water. Food shortages are evident among the masses.

Today (September 3) in Noakhali district town, on the initiative of the Islamic Front Bangladesh District Committee, extensive relief materials have been distributed among more than five hundred flood-affected residents of different upazilas. Allama Mosharraf Hossain Helali, Joint Secretary of Islamic Front Bangladesh Central Parishad, said, "We are happy to provide food to the people trapped in the flood in Noakhali. People of all classes and professions should come forward to distribute relief materials among the flood victims. Islamic Front Bangladesh Comilla Division Organizing Secretary Principal Maulana Mohammad Shamchuddoha told reporters.

He said that in 93 unions of Noakhali district, at least 20 lakh residents have been trapped in water due to floods caused by continuous rains in the last few days. I have seen so many floods in Noakhali coastal area, but I have not seen such a terrible situation. This flood has upset us. Central and district leaders including Islamic Front Bangladesh Narayanganj District General Secretary Mohammad Kausar, Islamic Front Bangladesh Noakhali District General Secretary Maulana Mufti Abdul Alim, Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat Bangladesh Noakhali District General Secretary Haji Delwar Hossain Nayan were present during the distribution of relief materials. On the eve of relief materials, prayers were prayed for the well-being of the people of Ban.
