1 person arrested with arms, ammunition in separate operation of Coast Guard in Cox's Bazar Qutubdia.

On the basis of secret information, it is known that a group of robbers is preparing for robbery in Lemsikhali and Ali Akbar Dale areas under Kutubdia upazila.

Based on the information received, two special separate operations were conducted in Char area of Nayaghona and Tabal under Kutubdia upazila of Cox's Bazar district from 0100 to 0400 hours on Wednesday, 11 September 2024. Active dacoit member Md. Shahriar (34) Father- Abu Taleb, Village- Nayagona, Police Station along with 01 domestic firearms, 01 single-barreled gun, 04 rounds of ammunition, 07 knives, 06 chapatis and various tools used in robbery. - Kutubdia, District- Cox's Bazar was managed to be detained by the Coast Guard. The arrested robber along with the seized goods were handed over to Qutubdia police station for further legal action.
