Mother and son are without home for 15 days due to the attack and continuous threats of Angaria village of Rajapur, Jhalkathi. In this incident, Mosa Rizia Begum, the wife of the deceased Dulal Mridha filed a case in the Jhalkathi court as the plaintiff. Rizia Begum made a complaint in a press conference at Rajapur Journalist Club yesterday afternoon. She said that the accused Md. Nahid Mridha, Md. Tanveer Mridha, Md. Nahar Akhtar, Md. Helal Akan, Md. Nazrul blocked the way of her son Raju Mridha at the Satyanagar stand on her way home at 10:30 p.m. on August 14. , Md. Hiru Akon, Md. Lokman brutally beat them to death due to previous disputes. The boy sustained a severe bloody injury on his left eye and after losing his sight he was thrown on the ground and 18,500 rupees in cash was taken from his pocket. Later, the locals rescued him in a coma and admitted him to Rajapur Upazila Health Complex. The doctor on duty referred him to Barisal for better treatment. At present the boy is undergoing treatment. When I complained about this to Rajapur police station, the police did not take my complaint. Later I filed a complaint in Jhalkathi court. It was not possible to take their opinion as the accused were hiding from the news of the case. Investigating officer of the case, SI Md Swaib of Rajapur police station said that he visited the scene and talked to the witnesses and locals regarding the court case. The matter will be investigated and necessary legal action will be taken.
