Wife arrested for murdering husband in RAB operation along with estranged lover

The members of RAB-15 arrested the Ejaharnamiya wife and her alleged lover No. 1 Ezaharnamiya accused in the sensational case of murdering her husband due to alienation in the Ukhia Rohingya camp in Shahpari Island area of ​​Teknaf Upazila of Cox's Bazar.

The arrested are Shahpari Dwip of Sabrang Union of Teknaf Upazila. Siddiqui's Nazir Hossain Bahadur Prakash Bahadullah (23) and his alleged wife Asmida Begum (30), daughter of Sona Mia of Ukhia FDMN Camp No. 26.

He said that Asmida Begum, a wife with an estranged lover, shot her husband Salim in a pre-planned manner due to a family dispute in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar, and the victim Salim died in Chittagong Medical Hospital the day after the incident. In this incident, the victim's father, Mir Ahmad, filed a murder case in Ukhia Police Station as the plaintiff, whose case is No-15, Date-08/04/2024, Section-302/34 Penal Code. Since the day of the incident, RAB-15 has been playing an active role in arresting the victim's wife and her estranged lover involved in the murder.

Finally, last Thursday (April 18) night, through intelligence surveillance, the CPC-1 Teknaf camp's smart raiding team identified accused No. 1 accused in the sensational case of murder of husband due to alienation in Ukhia Rohingya camp, alleged lover Nazir Hossain Bahadur Prakash Bahadullah (23) and accused No. 2 victim. Wife Asmida Begum (30) was arrested from Shahpari Island area of ​​Teknaf.

During preliminary interrogation, the arrested accused confessed their involvement in the murder.

Inquiries and investigations revealed that the deceased Salim (32) and Asmida Begum (30) are husband and wife. They are both citizens of Myanmar. They got married 12 years ago. They have two sons at home. Salim, the victim, was often out due to work. On this occasion his wife Asmida Begum entered into an immoral relationship with her estranged lover Nazir Hossain Bahadur Prakash Bahadullah. When the matter came to the notice of the victim deceased Salim, he protested with his wife, causing family quarrel and trouble between them. Since then the victim's wife started planning to kill the victim with the help of her estranged lover.

On the day of the incident i.e. April 5 around 12 noon, according to the pre-planned Nazir Hossain Bahadur, the alleged lover of the victim's wife, shot the victim in the lower part of the right side of the stomach with the firearm he was carrying. In this work, the victim's wife fully cooperated with her boyfriend. Later, when the victim was first taken to the local health complex, the doctor on duty referred him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital for better treatment. The victim died in the morning after the incident at Chittagong Medical.

He also said that the arrested accused have been handed over to the concerned police station for further legal action.
