A training program on homestead vegetable gardens to meet the food security and nutritional needs of flood-affected communities in the northern region

Training is being provided to set up vegetable gardens in family homesteads as part of the Food Security and Nutritional Needs Capacity Strengthening Plan for flood-affected communities in the northern region of Bangladesh. Training provider Md. Jewel Rana. Location Purarchar, Sundarganj, Gaibandha.


 The only purpose of training is so that people do not suffer from nutritional needs due to floods and through this training the unemployed population affected by floods can become self-reliant by eliminating their unemployment and can contribute to meeting the nutritional needs of other communities in the country.


 We all know that green plants are very necessary in our personal life. If we eat a little green plants i.e. vegetables during our daily meal then our body's immune system will increase. So let's all get trained in this green plant cultivation process in our home garden and grow vegetables in all the vacant spaces in our home garden.
