Wife's estranged lover stabbed to death in Mahadevpur, Naogaon, accused absconding

 A man named Tasibul Islam Bulu (52) was stabbed to death in Naogaon's Mahadevpur in connection with an extramarital affair with his wife. The stabbing incident took place inside the Star Rice Mill in Belgharia area adjacent to Nowhatamor Bazar of the upazila on Thursday night. Since the incident, the accused murderer Azizul Islam is absconding, said Md. Ruhul Amin, officer-in-charge of Mahadevpur police station. Tasibul Islam, the manager of Star Rich Mill and son of deceased Anisur Rahman of Chakranand village of Manda upazila, Naogaon, who died due to stabbing.

According to local sources, the deceased Tasibul was working as a manager of Star Rice Mill for a long time. He got involved in an extramarital affair with Mosha Maleka Begum (40), wife of Azizul Islam, an employee of the same mill. Due to his extramarital relationship with his wife, Azizul Islam and Tasibul Islam Bulu's verbal dispute started at one stage. At that time, he stabbed Tasibul with a sharp knife in several places on the chest and back, while also hitting his wife. Immediately others in the mill rescued the manager and Maleka Begum in critical condition and sent them to Naogaon Sadar Hospital for treatment. On reaching the hospital, the doctor on duty declared Tasibul dead.

In this regard, the officer-in-charge of Mahadevpur police station, Md. Ruhul Amin, quoting the family of the deceased, said that after the burial of the dead body, they will come to the police station and file a case. But since the killing, the killer is absconding.
