Narail District Detective Police has arrested the accused Enayet Sardar (42), who was sentenced to three years in prison and fined five thousand taka in a drug case. Ujjal Roy, Narail district representative said that the accused Enayet Sardar (42) arrested on Wednesday (March 27) is the son of deceased Iman Ali Sardar of Bagdanga village under Narail Sadar police station. He used to live in Dhalgram of Bagharpara police station of Jessore district to evade the eyes of the police. On the basis of secret information, under the supervision of Narail District Intelligence Branch Officer-in-Charge Md. Sabbirul Alam, SI (retd) Apu Mitra and ASI (retd) Sohel Rana conducted an operation with the joint force and arrested him from Dhalgram Bazar under Bagharpara police station of Jessore district.
On the other hand, Kalia Thana police arrested one accused named Elias Sheikh who was sentenced to one year imprisonment. The arrested Ilyas Sheikh is the son of Sultan Sheikh of Madhavpasha village under Kalia Thana of Narail district. Kalia police station has two arrest warrants in his name. Based on reliable information, ASI (retd) Nazir, under the supervision of Kalia police station officer in-charge Khandkar Shamim Uddin, arrested him from his home. The accused have been produced before the learned Court. Under the overall direction of Narail District Superintendent of Police Mohd Mehedi Hasan, Warrant Tamil District Police is always active.
