The young man who was shot by his friend in Teknaf died in the hospital

A young man died in the hospital after being shot by his friend for 800 rupees in Nazir neighborhood of Teknaf.

He died at a private hospital in Cox's Bazar on Friday (March 29) around eleven o'clock.

The deceased youth is Muhammad Jobair (30), son of Abdul Khalek, a resident of Nazirpara area of ​​Sadar Union of the upazila. The matter was confirmed by Muhammad Sattar, the brother of the deceased youth.


It is reported that Najumuddin Zobair, son of Jagir Hochan, a resident of the same area, was shot for 800 taka in the Nazir Para area of ​​Sadar Union of the upazila on Friday (March 29) evening. Later, the locals rescued him while injured and took him to the hospital where he died under treatment.


Locals said that 2 days ago, Najumuddin son of Jagir Hochan of Sadar Union village Nazir and Zobair son of deceased Abdul Khalek of the same area had an argument over money transaction on mobile phone. As a result of this incident, at around 7 pm on Friday, under the leadership of Najumuddin, Zobair's house was attacked. At one point Najumuddin and his accomplices shot Zobair in the head before realizing anything.


In this regard, Teknaf Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Muhammad Osman Gani said, a police team is working on the matter and the police operation is continuing to arrest those involved.
