The main master of online fraud was arrested from Khulna in Narail DB operation. An online fraudster named Md. Rabbi Sheikh (21) opened Facebook and used to attract common people by advertising various types of mobile phones on the Facebook page for a long time.

Ujjal Roy, from Narail, said that a person named Nasir Sheikh (33) of South Narail, Narail district, saw an advertisement on his Facebook page for the sale of used mobile phones and offered two VIVO V27E smart mobile phones worth 38 thousand rupees each, for a total price of 76 thousand rupees, on their page. Call on mobile number 01884-702760. From there, the fraudster Md. Rabbi Sheikh introduced himself as the manager of Online Mobile Market BD and told Nasir Sheikh that if he wants to pick up the mobile phone, he will have to give his name-address and mobile number and for the courier cost, he will have to pay five hundred and ten rupees in advance to the accused's Bkash account number and their delivery man will be next. When the mobile phone is delivered within 24 hours, the remaining 500,000 taka must be paid to the deliveryman. Nasir Sheikh took their word for granted (December 24) and paid an advance of five hundred and ten rupees to the bank account number given by the fraudsters. The next day (December 25) 2023 deliveryman called the mobile number of another associate Nasir Sheikh who is not known and said that he is standing at the Lohagara Lakshipasha bus counter with the mobile phone he ordered and to collect the mobile phone he has to send another three thousand five hundred rupees to their office Bikash number. As per his word, Nasir Sheikh paid 3 thousand five hundred rupees to Bikash number of fraud circle.

After a while they called Nasir Sheikh and told him that he should open the country lock of the phone for which he should send 42 thousand two hundred and sixty rupees immediately. Nasir Sheikh paid them forty two thousand two hundred and sixty rupees on the same date as promised. Moments after paying, another anonymous fraudster identified himself as the MD of Online Mobile Market BD and told him that their delivery man had gone near his home with the mobile phone he had ordered. Now to get the mobile phone, I have to send another nineteen thousand nine hundred and thirty five rupees. As per his word, Nasir Sheikh paid the money. Even after paying the money, the fraudsters did not deliver any mobile phone to the victim Nasir Sheikh and when he tried to contact them, they cut off his mobile call. When victim Naseer Sheikh called Online Mobile Market BD Facebook page messenger, another anonymous fraudster informed him that they are out of stock and are unable to provide mobile delivery. It will take until (15th February) for their new stock to arrive and (16th February) for the mobile phone ordered to be delivered. The victim Nasir Sheikh called all the mobile numbers provided by them (on February 16) but the fraudster blocked all their mobile numbers and their page messenger as well.

As a result of which Nasir Sheikh filed a complaint at Narail Sadar Police Station (March 5), a fraud case was registered. During the investigation of the case by the investigating officer SI (retd) Md Ali Hossain, under the supervision of the in-charge of the District Cyber ​​Crime Investigation Cell, Md Shah Dara Khan, the investigating officer of the case, with the help of modern information technology, along with the force, the main master of the fraudster, Md Rabbi Sheikh (21), father- Md Imran Sheikh, Village-Khararia, Thana-Kalia conducted a search operation on Sunday (March 10) morning and arrested Bara Boyra Madhyapara Sakinsth, House No-16/7, 4th floor of Nachima Mansion under Khulna Metropolitan Khalishpur Police Station. Two smart mobile phones, two button mobile phones and a total of eight black SIMs registered in the names of different companies were recovered from the custody of the arrested accused and seized on the basis of the seizure list. When the accused is sent to the learned court, the accused pleads guilty before the learned court and gives a confessional statement under section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
