The body of the housewife was recovered from Manda

Police recovered the body of a housewife named Mallika Begum (45) from her bedroom in Manda, Naogaon. Police arrested her husband Mohsin Ali in this incident.

The incident took place in Chakkhopa village of the upazila in the early hours of Wednesday (March 13). The police received the information and recovered the body of the housewife from the spot at around 12 noon.

Deceased Mallika Begum is the daughter of Mofer Ali of Pasharvarti Vebra village. They have one son and one daughter.

According to local sources, Mallika Begum was suffering from various diseases including kidney disease, piles, stomach pain, teeth for a long time. He also underwent an operation a few days ago. On the last 10th they both husband and wife went to see a doctor in Rajshahi.

Mohsin Ali's brother Mozammel said that in the early morning my mother went to call my brother Mohsin to eat Sehri. At that time, he was found lying in a paddy field near the house. Later, I went to the house and found my sister-in-law's body lying there. At that time, a scar was seen on his neck.

Manda police station OC Mozammel Haque Kazi said, the body was recovered and sent to Naogaon Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem. No one has filed a written complaint in this incident so far. Necessary legal action will be taken subject to investigation.
