On the day of the incident, the victim Nurul Azim (26), father-Abdul Motaleb, mother-Jahanara Begum, Sang-Dakshin Rumaliarchhara, Samiti Bazar, Thana-Cox's Bazar Sadar, District-Cox's Bazar and one of his friends left for their home near Rumaliarha police outpost. On reaching Cox's Bazar Municipality, Salman Shah, the mastermind of the robbery gang, along with another 2/3 unidentified robbers blocked their way with local knives and kirich. At one stage, the robbers forcibly snatched cash of 15,000/- (fifteen thousand), 01 Android phone (Redmi Note 13) worth Rs. 23,000/- from the victim's pocket and daily necessities worth Rs. ran away In this incident, the victim himself filed a complaint at Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station, whose case is No-79/227, Date-28/3/2024, Section-392 Penal Code-1860.

3. After the case was filed in Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station, RAB-15's raid team went into the field to arrest the robbery gang. In continuation of this, on March 29, 2024, at approximately 3.00 hours, RAB-15, the raiding party of Battalion Sadar, on the basis of secret information, conducted a special operation in the municipal area under Sadar Thana of Cox's Bazar district and looted the accused No. 1 of the case filed by the victim Nurul Azim and Cox's Bazar Municipality. The mastermind of the gang "Salman alias Salman Shah" (27), Father-Khuilya Miah, Sang-Technaifya Pahar, South Ramalia Rham, Ward No. 7, Thana-Cox's Bazar Sadar, District-Cox's Bazar was arrested.

The arrested Salman Shah with the help of other members of the robbery gang roamed freely at night in the alleys of the city and terrorized the public at convenient places such as alleys and secluded points with indigenous weapons and looted money, mobile phones, watches and gold ornaments. It is known in the preliminary inquiry that he does various types of criminal activities. There are 05 cases against him in Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station for various crimes. Also, according to the information given by the arrested Salman, RAB's operations are continuing with the aim of bringing the unknown accused involved in the robbery under the law.

5. The arrested accused have been handed over to the Sadar Model Police Station of Cox's Bazar district for further legal action.
