Police monthly crime review meeting in Chittagong: 37 policemen received awards for good work

The monthly crime review meeting of CMP for the month of February-2024 was held on March 16, Saturday afternoon at the conference hall of Chittagong Metropolitan Police Lines headquarters in Dampara of the city.

Chittagong Metropolitan Police Commissioner (Additional IGP) Krishna Pad Roy, BPM (Bar), PPM (Bar) was present as the chairman of the meeting.

The Commissioner of Police wished everyone a blessed Ramadan in his speech and thanked everyone concerned for the normal law and order situation in the city and advised all police stations and departments to work together to continue this trend.

He directed the DCs of all zones to be more proactive in preventing narcotics and extortion in their areas. He also directed the traffic department to be more dynamic. Also present in the meeting were CMP Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration and Finance) AS Mahtab Uddin, PPM-Service; Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime and Operations), Abdul Mannan Miah, BPM-Service; Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Masood Ahmed, BPM-Service, PPM-Service; Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Md. Abdul Warish, PPM-Service (Additional DIG) along with policemen of various ranks were present.

In the meeting, 37 policemen were awarded with cash in various categories for their good work during the month of February 24.

Moinur Rahman, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Pahartali Zone) was selected as the best Assistant Commissioner of Police, Akbarshah Police Station (Golam Rabbani-Inspector of Police), The best team of intelligence department. Monir Hossain, Inspector of Police (Retd), DB-West, Senior SI-1st SI (Retd) Md Abdullah, Bayezid Bostami Police Station, Senior SI-2nd SI (Retd) Anoyor Hossain, Baklia Police Station, Senior ASI-1st ASI (Retd) ) Sohail Ahmed, Panchlaish Police Station, Best ASI-2nd ASI (Retd) Rajeev Dey, Khulshi Police Station, Best Warrant Officer Tamil SI (Retd) Md Abdullah, Bayezid Bostami, Best Warrant Officer Tamil ASI (Retd) Sohail Ahmed, Panchlaish Police Station, Best Arms Recovery Officer SI (Retd) Syed Main Uddin Ahmed Faisal, Pahartali Police Station, Best Narcotics Recovery Officer SI (Retd) Sufal Kumar Das, Pahartali Police Station, Best Stolen Vehicle Recovery Officer SI (Retd) Anoyoor Hossain, Baklia Police Station. This police officer urged the police to work as a friend of the people in the future as a more beautiful and well-ordered force.
