The picture of Fzal Hossain Sohel (37), the husband of UP member Hosneyara Begum, in the reserved women's seat of Ward 1, 2 and 3 of Bhola Sadar Upazila No. 3, West Elisha Union, has spread on social media. There was a storm of criticism after pictures of Yaba consumption were published on Facebook since Friday (March 15) morning. Sohail is the son of deceased Hanif Mia of Ward No. 3 of South Charpata Village of West Elisha Union No. 3. He owns a contracting firm called Romman Traders. His first wife Hosneyara Begum was elected UP member in 2022 from 1, 2 and 3 Wards of West Elisha Union No. 3 from the reserved seat for women. Talking to the locals, they said that Sohel has been doing business and consuming Yaba for a long time. Because of that, the youth of the area is facing destruction today. A businessman in Syed Lahiri Bazar said on condition of anonymity that Sohail has an office in Syed Lahiri Bazar. The office has two floors. The office is covered by several CCTV cameras. The office also has a secret door. Sitting in that office he consumed yaba. The viral pictures are of that office. When he consumed yaba, he kept all the office doors locked. He watched everything through CCTV cameras even when someone from the law enforcement agencies came to catch him from outside. On condition of anonymity, a UP member of West Elisha Union said that Sohail used drugs very cleverly. Along with drug consumption, he also supplies drugs.

He brought Yaba from Cox's Bazar and Teknaf and supplied it to Barisal and Charfashan. He has become the owner of crores of rupees by supplying drugs under the cover of contract work. When Fzal Hossain Sohail Bagha was contacted to know about this, he admitted that the picture of Yaba consumption was his and he told the reporters that Yaba was consumed by him. He did not know who took his picture then. He also requested the journalists not to report on this matter. If asked to know, No. 3 West Elisha Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Md. Zahirul Islam Zahir said that he did not know about Sohail's consumption of Yaba. Officer-in-charge of Bhola District Detective Police (DB). Enayet Hossain said, DB police will investigate the matter secretly and take legal action.
