Later, at 11 am, a discussion meeting and prize distribution program was organized on the occasion of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's 104th birthday and National Children's Day-2024 at Police Lines Drillshed organized by Narail District Police. In the event, students of Narail District Police Lines School participated in painting and writing competition. Tareq Al Mehdi, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime & Ops), Narail moderated the event. At that time, the head teacher of Police Lines School, Ferdausi Khanam; Md Jahangir Kabir, General Secretary, Police Lines School; Md. Shahidul Islam, Court Police Inspector; Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) in his speech reminisced about the ideals of life of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Narail District Superintendent of Police Mohd Mehdi Hasan was present as the chief guest on the occasion. The Superintendent of Police said in his speech, "If the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was not born, we would not have got an independent sovereign country. He was very brave from his childhood. He could not tolerate any injustice. He always thought of the common people. For the rights of the common people, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman struggled all his life. And for that reason, the people gave Sheikh Mujibur Rahman the title of "Bangabandhu". The Police Superintendent said to the school teachers and parents that the history of independence and the significance of every day and culture of the country should be highlighted in front of the children. Then the Police Superintendent Mohd. Mehdi Hasan Prizes were awarded to the winners of the painting and composition competitions.
