The monthly welfare meeting of Narail District Police was held.
On Monday (March 11) at 9:30 a.m. the welfare meeting of the month of March/2024 AD was held at the Police Lines Drillshed. Ujjwal Roy, Narail district representative said that officers and forces of different ranks from different police stations, outposts, investigation centers, camps and officers and forces of police lines spoke about their overall problems in the welfare meeting.
District Superintendent of Police Mohd Mehdi Hasan remembered all the martyrs and 2 lakh mothers and sisters who sacrificed their lives in the great freedom war. The Superintendent of Police thanked the policemen for performing their duty with professionalism and integrity. Later, he directed the concerned police officers to resolve the issues mentioned by them. He instructed all the policemen to work together for the welfare of the people and the country and discharge their proper responsibilities in forming a smart police. He gave instructions on various important issues including regular leave, accommodation, cleanliness, medical treatment, quality food to ensure the welfare of the policemen. He instructed to observe "Cleaning Day" on one Saturday every week to keep Police Stations, Investigation Centers and Police Camps clean. He gave directive speech on policemen's discipline, sense of responsibility, good behavior towards parents, ethics, showing due respect to retired policemen, avoiding indecent behavior, etc.
The in-charges of respective police stations and investigation centers thanked the Superintendent of Police for arranging TV, fridge, chairs, cots and IPS according to the needs of different police stations, outposts and investigation centers.
Constable/136 Md. Rezaul Karim, ASI (Unarmed) Md. Nazmul Haque and Constable/151 Md. Golam Saroar on the occasion of PRL departure, Hon'ble Superintendent of Police handed over crests and gifts to them as a memento.
In recognition of the good work of the month of February, SI (retd) Shah Alam of Sadar Police Station, Best ASI (retd) Ujjal Das of Narail district, ASI (retd) Md Anisuzzaman of District Intelligence Branch as the best drug recovery officer, APA at Narail Sadar Police Station. SI (Retd) Palash Kumar Ghosh on completion of all the related activities, gave financial honor to Md. Jasim Rana as the best watchful officer of the traffic branch. Also, Md. Tariqul Islam as the best wasar constable of the district special branch, Cong/213 and Md. Tariqul Islam as the best village police. Md Shanta Islam was given financial honor and crest as a special award.
In the welfare meeting Mohammad Anwar Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance), promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police; Tarek Al Mehdi, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops); Officer-in-charge of all Police Stations, District Special Branch Police Inspector, Inspector Crime, District Detective Branch Police Inspector, Court Inspector, Traffic Inspector, all Police Investigation Centers, Police Outposts and Camp Incharges of the District along with Officers and Force of Police Lines and other concerned policemen were present.
