Miscreants broke the glass of Burimari Express by pelting stones on the railway line on the day of its inauguration.
On Tuesday (March 12) night, miscreants broke the glass of a moving train by throwing rocks at Ghuntibazar area of Hatibandha upazila of Lalmonirhat.
It is known that the train was officially inaugurated this morning at Burimari in Lalmonirhat by local member of parliament Motahar Hossain. Former Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed and Matiar Rahman MP were present at this time. After the inauguration, when the Burimari Express train came to Ghuntibazar area of Hatibandha upazila on its way back, miscreants pelted stones on the railway line and broke the window glass.
Eyewitness passengers 'Sohail Rana' and Golam Azam in that train said, we boarded the Burimari Express from Hatibandha railway station to Dhaka. On the way, if you pass the Ghuntibazar area of the upazila, someone throws three stones. Due to this, a rock broke the window glass of the train and entered inside. But no one was injured. We are wasting the resources of the country ourselves, it is not desirable.
Lalmonirhat Railway Divisional Commercial Manager (DCM) Abdullah Al Mamun said it is very sad. It is not known who did it Those involved in this incident will be found and brought under the law.
