 DB Police arrested two drug dealers named Md. Raju Sikder (25), Md. Johnny Talukder (30) along with 8 ganja plants in Rajapur of Jhalkathi.

On Saturday night and Sunday morning, the Jhalkathi District Detective (DB) police conducted separate raids and arrested two of them along with 1 ganja plant from the bhutto field of Raju Sikdar in Bara Kaivartkhali area of ​​Rajapur upazila of Jhalkathi and 7 ganja plants from the roof of the 1st floor building of Johny Talukdar in Dakshin Rajapur area. .

The arrested are Raju Sikdar son of deceased Mojibur Rahman of Bara Kaivartkhali area of ​​Sadar Union of Rajapur Upazila. And Johnny Talukder is the son of deceased Fokar Talukder of Dakshin Rajapur area. Officer-in-charge (OC) Moniruzzaman of Jhalkathi District Intelligence Police confirmed the matter.

Meanwhile, DB Police arrested Al Amin with 500 grams of ganja from Nathullabad Elka of Jhalkathi Sadar Upazila on Saturday night. Al Amin is the son of Ah Rahman Howladar of Nathullabad area.

DB OC said that three people were arrested along with half a kg of ganja and eight ganja plants in separate raids based on secret information. A case was registered against the arrested persons under the Narcotics Control Act at Jhalkathi Sadar Police Station and Rajapur Police Station and they were sent to Jhalkathi Court on Sunday.
