In Panchagarh difficult stone smuggling With Cash (Detention-3)

 

District Intelligence Branch Panchagarh arrested 17 kg hard stone Vishnu idol along with three arrested

1. Md. Shaheen Shah (40), father-deceased Mosharof Hossain, Sang-Bandiram, Thana-Debiganj,

 2. Md. Habibur Rahman (48), father-deceased Amanat Ali, son-in-law Krishna Kant Jot

 3. Md. Shahidul (55), Father- Md. Ekramul Haque, Sang- Tentulia, Both Thana- Tentulia, District- Panchagarh.

 Nate arrested and seized the recovered hard stone Vishnu mutti on the same date (6.55) hours.

Panchagarh District Special Superintendent of Police Mr. S, M, Sirajul Huda, PPM-Bar under the supervision of Officer In-Charge District Intelligence Branch under the leadership of SI Md. Abu Hossain during a special operation in Debiganj police station area on 07/03/2024 A.H. at approximately 05.45 hrs. SI/(Unarmed) Md. Abu Hossain, on the basis of secret information, can inform that three persons are staying in Banur Hat Bazar under Debiganj Thana of Panchagarh district to buy and sell hard stone idols and to smuggle them abroad. After conveying the news to higher authorities, SI/ (Unarmed) Md. Abu Hossain, Sangeet SI/ (Unarmed) Md. Mizanur Rahman, SI/ (Unarmed) Md. Asaduzzaman, ASI/ Md. Umar Farooq, ASI/ Nayan Debnath, Cong/368 Md. Sazzadul Islam, Cong/334 Al Mehdi, Cong/ 600 Md. Saiful Islam District Intelligence Branch, District Intelligence Branch, Panchagarh Banu haat bazaar around and shops.On the same date at 6.30 pm, two persons carrying a bag entered the pharmacy shop of Md. Shaheen Shah (40) of Banur Hat Bazar, Sarkar Para, Pamuli UP under Debiganj Thana, father-deceased Mosharof Hossain, Sang-Bandiram, Thana-Debiganj. The vigilant team members conducted a raid from all sides and arrested a 17 kg heavy stone Vishnu (height 29 inches, width 11 inches) along with cash.
