Humble tribute of the District Police on the birth anniversary of the great architect of independence, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman

On the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the great architect of independence, the great hero of the liberation of the Bengali nation, the founder of our nation state, the father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, on the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary and National Children's Day 2024, District Police, Kurigram paid a humble tribute from the bottom of the heart to the people of Kurigram district. Superintendent of Police Al Asad Md. Mahfuzul Islam and all the officers. First, Honorable Member of Parliament of Kurigram-2 Constituency Md Hamidul Haque Khandkar and Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saidul Arif paid their respects to the Father of the Nation. District Awami League President Md. Jafar Ali, General Secretary and Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Aman Uddin Manju, Municipal Mayor Mr. Kajiul Islam, learned PP Mr. SM Abraham Lincoln, brave freedom fighters, political leaders at all levels, various office heads, journalists also paid their respects. Citizens of all levels of Kurigram including students of schools and colleges and individuals working in government and private institutions. Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance), Md. Ruhul Amin, Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Ops) Md. Sajjad Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police of Kurigram circle A. K. M. Ohidunnabi and other members of the district police.

After paying tributes, special prayers were offered for all the martyrs of the freedom struggle including the father of the nation and all the martyrs of the family of the father of the nation on August 15.

Besides, the concerned circle officers and officers in-charge of all the police stations of Kurigram district paid humble respect to the father of the nation in their respective police station areas.

Also, on the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children's Day 2024, a discussion meeting was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner at 10:15 am. On the occasion of National Children's Day 2024, the guests gave prizes for various competitions in the discussion meeting.
