Formation of new committee through the conference of Sarishabari Reporters Club

In Sarishabari of Jamalpur on Wednesday morning, the reportus club's triennial conference was held through a conference at Swapanil Park in the municipal area.

A new executive committee of 9 members has been formed with Md. Ismail Hossain, upazila representative of daily Kalbela newspaper as president and Md. Shafiqul Bhuiyan, upazila reporter of daily Bangladesh newspaper as general secretary.

The conference was held under the chairmanship of Sarishabari Reports Club convener Sultan Mahmud and joint conveners Anicur Rahman and Hafizur Rahman. At that time, this executive committee consisting of 9 members was elected for the year 2024-25 by voice vote of the members. Also, 6 more people have been made honorary members to speed up the activities of the board of directors along with the executive committee.

Other newly elected members are Senior Vice President Md. Sultan Mahmud (Dainik Sandhya Bani), Vice President Anicur Rahman (Dainik Khabar), Joint Editor Masud Rana (Dainik Bangladesh Samachar), Treasurer Abdur Razzak (Dainik Asia Bani), Executive Member Hafizur Rahman. (Dainik Alor Jagat), Al Amin Hossain (Dainik Ajker Bashundhara), Kazi Farooq Hossain (Dainik Ekushe Sangbad), Honorable members Md. Farooq Hossain (Dainik Swadhin Mat), Gulzar Hossain (Dainik Ganamukti), SM Rabiul Islam (Dainik Bhor Darpan). ), Mahtab Anwar (Daily Dawn), Md. Shaheen Mia (Daily Dhaka) and Md. Sifat Mia (Daily Urban Thoughts).

Newly elected president Ismail Hossain said in the conference that Sarishabari Reporters Club was formed in 2020 with some young talented and energetic journalists. Their main objective was that they will strive everywhere to maintain the continuity of the development of the country and the nation and present true and objective news to expose corruption and injustice. He requested everyone's cooperation to implement that vision.
