At Charchitlia dighar of Phulchhari upazila of Gaibandha district, farmers club members were given a day-long training on homestead vegetable garden. How we can meet our own needs by growing vegetables in our homestead yard and also meet our nutritional needs by eating formalin-free fresh vegetables. is Moreover, if we grow vegetables in the lying areas around our homesteads and produce all the improved varieties of vegetables and sell them in the village market after meeting our needs, this training is given with the aim of becoming self-reliant and producing safe crops, confirmed Project Officer Trainer MD.
