Distribution of leaflets among people to raise public awareness on making and hoisting the national flag

Leaflets have been distributed to inform the common people about the correct rules for flag making and hoisting at Hatibandha in Lalmonirhat.

On Thursday (March 21) morning, the leaflets were distributed among the businessmen of different places of the city under the initiative of Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad Isha Command.

During the leaflet distribution, Upazila Executive Officer Atiqul Islam, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Lokman Hossain, Upazila President of Muktijoddha Sangsad Ishan Command Roknuzzaman Sohel, former Deputy Commander of Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad Abdul Jabbar, Singimari UP Chairman Manowar Hossain Dulu, Upazila General Secretary of Bangladesh Scout were present. Nuruzzaman, Joint Editor Jalal Uddin and others.

Roknuzzaman Sohel, the upazila president of Muktijoddha Sangsad Ichun Command, said that many people hoisted the flag on national days without knowing the rules. This leaflet is distributed today to make people aware of this issue.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Atiqul Islam said, today's leaflet distribution is so that the national flag can be hoisted with appropriate dignity and proper measure on different days. Hoisting the national flag without knowing the correct rules and dimensions is a punishable crime, so everyone will hoist the flag knowing the correct rules.
