Discussion meeting organized by Islamic Foundation in Meherpur

On the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Children's Day, a cultural program and discussion meeting was held in Meherpur.

Today, Sunday (March 17) at 12 noon, the meeting was held at the District Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center organized by the Islamic Foundation.

Advocate Ibrahim Shaheen, Joint General Secretary of Meherpur District Awami League, was present as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Islamic Foundation Deputy Director AGM Sirajum Munim.

District Model Mosque Imam Mufti Md Sadikur Rahman, Field Supervisor Tawhidul Islam spoke at this time.

Before this, the foundation's field officer Abu Raihan gave a welcome speech.

Maulana Md. Abdul Hamid, master trainer of Islamic Foundation, recited the Holy Quran at the beginning of the program.

Later prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
