A fire broke out at a farmer's house in Kaliganj of Lalmonirhat, causing extensive damage to four houses. On Saturday afternoon, a fire broke out in the house of Dulal Mia, a farmer in Duhuli area of ​​East Upazila. His four houses including valuable furniture, cash and other goods were gutted. Fire service and locals brought the fire under control. Farmer Dulal Mia said, I was working in the field and suddenly heard the screams of the people of the house and saw the fire in the kitchen of my house. Later locals and fire service personnel came and extinguished the fire on our shouts. A total of four houses, including my kitchen, were burnt to ashes. Lakhs of rupees including paddy, rice, tobacco and cash have been damaged in the house. Farmer Dulal Mia's brother, businessman Khokon Mia, said that the house of our five brothers caught fire in the kitchen of Dulal Bhai's house. His two houses and Helal Bhai's two houses were burnt. Had we gone, about 12 houses would have been burnt to ashes. Said Ahmed, leader of fire service and civil defense Aditmari station, said that four houses of Dulal Mia, including furniture, were burnt to ashes in the fire.
