Crushed by truck wheels in Mahadevpur Death of registration examinee

A motorcycle driver named Abdul Mannan died tragically after being crushed by the wheel of a mini truck in Mahadevpur, Naogaon. His sister Iti Akhtar was injured. They are sons of Idris Ali of Chhatra Jinpur village of Pasarwarti Niamatpur upazila. The accident took place on Friday (March 15) around 8:30 am at a place called Dimjaun of Mahadevpur upazila on Chatra-Mahadevpur road.

Injured Iti Akhtar said that they two siblings were going to Naogaon from home to take teacher registration exam on a motorcycle. On the way, a mini truck coming from the opposite direction hit them and his brother Abdul Mannan tragically died on the spot. Locals rescued Iti Akhtar and took him to Upazila Health Complex. He was given first aid there.

Iti said, he works at Manda Upazila Health Complex and his brother Abdul Mannan works at BRAC Bank at Benapole, Jessore. Both of them were going to take the teacher registration exam hoping to get a job in their area. Their examination venue was Naogaon University College.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Mahadevpur police station Ruhul Amin said that the body has been handed over to the relatives.
