17 March is the 104th anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the Bengali nation

To celebrate the birth anniversary and National Children's Day 2024, Port of Chittagong EPZ-Patengasth has organized various programs in various organizations and educational institutions.


EPZ, 39 No. Ward Ah League: The party office of the organization is at Bandartila at 2 pm.

Organized a discussion meeting and paid tribute to Bangabandhu's nature with flowers. President of Police Station Committee Haji Sultan Nashir Uddin, General Secretary Md Salim Afzal, Ward Awami League President and former Councilor Haji Md Aslam, Councilor and General Secretary Haji Md Ziaul Haque Sumon were present.



Also present were former joint convener MA Taher, Ah League leader Lokman Hakim, Haji Akkas Uddin Saudagar, Salim Reza, Md. Haroon Ur Rashid, Jubo League Chhatra League Swchchasevak League Sramik League, Mahila Awami League leaders were duly present. In the afternoon of the same day, general secretary Md Zainal Abedin Azad Chowdhury held a discussion meeting at the party office at Ward No. 40 after paying tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu. In the same way, under the chairmanship of councilor Haji Saleh Ahmad Chowdhury, tribute was paid to the best child of the nation in the 41st South Patenga Ward. Among the leaders present were Vice-President Wahidul Alam Master, Nurul Alam Tendal, Wahidul Alam Chowdhury, Tanveer Chowdhury, Faridul Islam Parag, Md. Lokman, League leader Shakil Harun and other leaders of the organization.


Chittagong Ideal School: An exchange meeting was held to celebrate the National Children's Day and Bangabandhu's 104th birthday in the morning of March 17 in the school auditorium under the chairmanship of Principal SM Didarul Alam, director of Patengastha Ideal Trust. Senior teacher Md. Mohsin Ali, senior teacher Md. Enamul Haque, head teacher of Nazir Para branch Md. Swapan Mia and other teachers and parents were also present. South Halishahar High School celebrated this National Day.


On the morning of March 17, discussion meeting, painting, poetry and rhyme recitation competition and tribute to the portrait of Bangabandhu were held in the school auditorium on the occasion of National Children's Day. President Md. Salim Afzal, special guest member Syed Anwarul Karim Rushdi, Haji Md. Nashir Uddin, member Mrs. Rokhsana Khanam, teacher Osman Gani were also present in the program under the chairmanship of Acting Head Teacher Fazal Karim. Teachers Md Ilyas Ali, Babu Milan Chakraborty, Subhashis Nandi, Munirul Anwar, Ferdous Ara Chowdhury, Shahina Akhtar, Humaya Ara Begum etc. In Ward No. 38 under the leadership of A League President Haji Md. Hasan Murad, tributes were paid to the portrait of Bangabandhu and in Ward No. 37 under the supervision of Councilor Haji Md. A. Mannan, the birthday of the nation's best son Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was celebrated with due dignity in Munir Nagar area. Besides, various schools and colleges have observed special programs on the occasion of National Children's Day. , Patenga High School, Patenga Chasik Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Ismail Sukani, South Halisahar KG School, Hafez Abdul Haque Shah Ideal School, Darul Hikmah Madrasa, South City Public School, Mamta School and College celebrated National Children's Day.
