Joint General Secretary of Khoksa Upazila A'League Md. Al Machum Morshed Shanto is leading in popularity and campaigning for the post of chairman in the upcoming Khoksa Upazila Parishad elections. Prospective candidates are having a busy time with the upazila council elections which started soon after the National Assembly elections. Meanwhile, five chairman candidates from Khoksa Upazila are campaigning by stating their positions. Most of them are government party candidates. Since there is no boat symbol as part of the party, he has entered the field with his waist tied.
The list of candidates includes current chairman and president of Upazila Awami League, Md. Babul Akhtar and senior vice-president of Upazila A'League, Alhaj Md. Abdur Rahimuddin Khan, and joint general secretary of Khoksa Upazila Awami League, Md. Al Machum Morshed Shanto. Former General Secretary Jasd, Md. Motahar Hossain Khokon. He is campaigning from different positions. Meanwhile, Md. Al Machum Morshed is calm. Along with the party leaders and supporters, he is far ahead of anyone in publicity and popularity at this moment based on his personal image. In 9 unions and one municipality of Khoksa upazila. In that case, besides the party support, it is also believed that his personal image will play a big role in the upcoming upazila elections.
Apart from politics, he played a responsible role in various social, educational and religious institutions. Currently, he is Khoksa Upazila joint general secretary, on the occasion of the upcoming upazila parishad election, he is regularly running to different parts of the upazila in his campaign. Praying for voters' prayers, support and blessings by attending various social, cultural and religious activities. Voters are also encouraging and motivating him by throwing themselves to the maximum in his every activity. If everything goes well, his victory is sure, from activists, supporters to ordinary voters.
