3 persons including husband and wife arrested in BNP leader murder case in Lalmonirhat

The police have arrested 3 people in the murder case of Ferdous Alam (48), union president of Svechasevak Dal, an affiliate of BNP in Lalmonirhat. Lalmonirhat Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Omar Farooq confirmed the fact of the arrest on Friday (March 15) afternoon.

The arrested persons are Masum Reza (40), son of Mozammel Haque of LGED area of ​​Lalmonirhat municipality, his wife Sabina Begum Lipi (35) and rickshaw driver Rafiqul Islam alias Waz Ali (40), son of deceased Akul Hossain of West Haribhanga area of ​​the same municipality. Earlier on Monday (March 11) morning, his body was recovered from Nijpara area of ​​Mahendranagar Union of Lalmonirhat Sadar Upazila.
