3 cows of day laborers were burnt in fire in Lohagra of Narail, loss of 5 lakh rupees

Three cows of a day laborer named Fulmiya got burnt due to coil fire in Charshiarbar village of Shalnagar union of Lohagara upazila of Narail. About 5 lakh rupees was lost in this incident. Ujjwal Roy, Narail District Representative

He said, on Wednesday (March 20), the fire started from a mosquito coil in the cowshed of Phul Mia in Charshiarbar village of the upazila.

On Thursday (March 21), Shalnagar Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Md. Labu Mia confirmed this.

According to the victims and local sources, the fire in the cowshed started late on Wednesday night from a coil fire. On seeing the fire, the locals called the victim's family and brought the fire under control. In the incident, one cow died on the spot and another on Thursday morning. The condition of another cow is critical. The family claimed that the loss was around 5 lakh rupees.

Phul Mia, who was affected by this incident, said that everything I had is gone, I am destitute and I am sitting on the road. I am a day laborer, I don't have an inch of land, I cultivate the next land and sell it to run my family. Moreover, my wife has been bedridden for almost 12 years due to paralysis. The fire took everything from me. I am seeking help from the wealthy. It is not possible to run my family without help.

In this regard UP Chairman Md. Labu Mia said, I heard about the fire in the cowshed on Wednesday night. Three cows were burnt. I will try to cooperate with that family.
