 Thana police arrested 1 accused in the case of stabbing 2 brothers due to previous enmity in Taltala village of Kathalia upazila of Jhalkathi. It is reported that on the morning of March 13, due to previous enmity, the opponents hacked and injured Md. Ruhul Sikder (34) and Md. Raihan Sikder (30), son of day laborer Md. Menaz Sikder. Later, the injured were rescued and admitted to Barisal Sherei Bangla Medical College Hospital. In this incident, the mother of the injured, Momtaz Begum, named the plaintiff and filed a complaint with the Kathalia police station on Friday morning. Investigating officer SI Md. Salim arrested Bappi Munsi (22), the accused number 2 in the case, from Bashbunia area at 12 noon today. Kathalia police station officer-in-charge Md. Nasir Uddin Sarkar said that as soon as the victim's mother filed a complaint with the police station, preparations are underway to arrest the accused number 2 of the case and send him to the Jhalkathi court, and efforts are underway to arrest the rest of the accused.
