1 person killed in truck-motorcycle collision in Naogaon

A motorcyclist named Russell Rana died in a head-on collision between a truck and motorcycle in Naogaon Manda. The incident took place on Thursday (March 13) around 3 pm at a place called Mirpara of Nurullabad UP on Prasadpur Jotbazar regional road of upazila.

The deceased is the son of Motahar Hossain of Talpatila village of Kashab Union of Rasel Upazila. Deceased Russell Rana is an honors first year student of Naogaon Government College. Police and locals said that Russell Rana was going to the upazila on a motorcycle from his home. On the other hand, when a truck from the upazila reached the spot, the motorcycle lost control and collided head-on. Russell Rana was seriously injured in this, the locals rescued him and took him to Manda Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. In this regard, the officer in charge of Manda police station, OC Mozammel Kazi, said that after receiving the information, the police were sent to the scene and the truck and motorcycle were seized. The body will be handed over after the legal process.
