State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Simin Hossain Rimi said that all the children of the country should be given the opportunity to grow up in a creative, science-minded, humanistic and cultural environment in order to develop their mental world outside of textbooks. To build a smart Bangladesh in the spirit of the liberation war, today's children are making themselves smart.


He said these things at the National Child Award ceremony organized by the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs at Osmani Auditorium in the capital on Thursday (February 8).


The state minister urged parents to make children aware of non-communal Bangladesh to continue the progress of the country.


Najma Mubarak, Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs, Anjin Liton, Director General of Bangladesh Shishu Academy and Lucky Inam, President, were present at this time.

Prizes were given to the winning children at the national level in the event. Apart from this, cultural programs were held by children.
