The United States has promised to give mid-term elections to the government

Md. Abdul Hamid (Meherpur) Representative:

Mahmudur Rahman Manna, president of Nagrik Oikya, claimed that the members of the US delegation told the government about mid-term elections. He said, "I heard that US officials are talking to the government to hold mid-term elections. So our simultaneous movement is going on and will continue. It will be forced to go when everyone gets down on the streets.

Manna said these things at an event titled 'Democracy, Human Rights - Voting Rights' organized by 'Desh Bachao Manhoop Bachao Andolan' on Tuesday (February 27).

Mahmudur Rahman Manna said that there is no compromise with the current government and those who are supporting the government. Be it China, America, Russia, India. After January people got a shock. We went down in such a way that people thought this government was over. But it didn't happen.

Manna said, the movement that we have done has never been affected by Bhatar (supporters). If BNP calls for a rally now, it will not be seen from one end of the platoon to another. We are not saying that we will remove Awami League and install BNP. We are saying that elections should be held under the interim government. It is a very fair claim.

He also said that Awami League thinks that it is over when the vote is over. They don't say how many people have voted, how many people have voted. They set the stage and that's it. Is there a vote on January 7? There was no vote. They don't see whether there is one percent vote, or zero.5 percent vote. This government has no gain in this election. They are just clinging to power.
