The police have arrested the accused Abu Hanif, who is under warrant for multiple cases of robbery and murder in Hossainpur of Kishoreganj

 Accused Abu Hanif is the son of Md Siraj Uddin of North Panan village of Gobindpur union of Hossainpur upazila of Kishoreganj. Police of Hossainpur police station managed to arrest him from his home on Tuesday (February 13) around 2:30 am on the basis of secret information. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Hossainpur police station Nahid Hasan Sumon briefed on this matter and said that Abu Hanif is the named accused in the case No-11 (Date: 08/03/2017 AD) of Comilla's Burichong police station. When he was 13-14, he left home and moved to Sylhet. From there, he got involved in various criminal activities, after that he stayed in Comilla for a long time and was accused of robbery, assault and police cases, including murder. That is why there are four cases in the name of the accused in Comilla's Burichong police station. For which he changed his abode from there and settled afloat in Chittagong; There were also various criminal activities. On Tuesday afternoon, the police confirmed that he was staying at his village home after 10 years and managed to arrest him from his home at 2.25 pm by conducting an operation led by him along with SI Sushant Chandra Sarkar.

Hossainpur police station OC Nahid Hasan Sumon said that after the arrest of the accused Abu Hanif; In his name, he has been involved in various crimes including murder, robbery, police assault, murder, weapon case, banditry case in various districts including Comilla. He is also a professional robber. The accused was sent to jail by the district court on Wednesday afternoon.
