The newly appointed director general of BGB paid tribute at Bangabandhu's tomb in Tungipara, Gopalganj

 


The newly appointed Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui paid his respects at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara, Gopalganj on Tuesday afternoon.

A well-armed team of BGB provided a guard of honour. After reciting Fateha and praying special prayers, Bangabandhu and all the martyred members of his family were prayed for forgiveness of souls. At that time senior officials of BGB headquarters, Jessore region commander, Gopalganj district administration and senior police officials, local public representatives and dignitaries were present.


It is to be noted that Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui took charge as the Director General of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Monday (February 5) afternoon.
