The Left Democratic Alliance has announced a protest program in the capital next Tuesday (February 6) demanding control of commodity prices and punishment of corrupt officials. This program was informed in a statement sent to the media by the alliance on Sunday (February 4).
It is said in the circular, prevention of increase in the price of daily commodities, stoppage of increase in price of electricity, gas and water, taking measures against syndicate extortionists, introduction of universal ration system across the country, guarantee of work for all with national minimum wage, taking measures against corruption-looters, defaulting loans- collection of money laundering and fascists. The demand for the end of misrule will also be raised from the assembly.
This political alliance made up of five political parties has been holding a series of agitations highlighting various problems of citizens. This alliance did not participate in the elections as the demands of the caretaker government were not implemented.
