The DIG of Chittagong range inaugurated the security and legal assistance desk for expatriates in B-Baria


 An Expatriate Help Desk has been inaugurated in Brahmanbaria to provide security and legal assistance to expatriates. Chittagong Range DIG Noore Alam Mina inaugurated the desk at the Superintendent of Police office on Wednesday afternoon. On this occasion, he officially inaugurated the desk as the chief guest in the function organized at Police Lines Auditorium. Superintendent of Police Md. Sakhawat Hossain presided over the program as special guests were Emigration Consultant Md. Ejaz Mahmud, CIP Ahmed Mottaki, Md. Taufiquzzaman and Md. Kashem Mia. At the end of the meeting, DIG Noore Alam Mina said that expatriate help desk has been launched to provide 24-hour hotline service with the importance of expatriates. Through this desk, remittance fighters will be provided legal assistance as well as security at the earliest. They don't have to be harassed anymore. Bangladesh Police has strengthened this initiative mainly to create a bridge bond between police and expatriates.
