Thakurgaon child marriage prevention and awareness meeting Tarunya Kanth has been held

 

Today Friday (February 16) at 11 am organized by Bangladesh Betar, Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila Parishad meeting room to prevent child marriage and awareness program Tarunya Kanth was held.

Awareness meetings and demonstration programs have been held to prevent child marriage.

Belayet Hossain, executive officer of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila was present as the chief guest of the program. Assistant teacher Ferdous Ara, other teachers, students, and parents participated in the program. Various activities to prevent child marriage were highlighted there.

The chief guest of the program said, child marriage is very harmful for us. We must all work to prevent child marriage. Let's work together to prevent child marriage.

Presenter Sajib Dutta said that the program has been organized by Population Health and Nutrition Cell Bangladesh Betar all over the country with the financial support of IEM Unit of Directorate of Family Planning for the last 8 years. Under the direction of director Md. Bashir Uddin under the supervision of deputy director Md. Amirul Islam, the voice of youth will be broadcast on Bangladesh Betar Dhaka (A) and FM 106 MHz under the production of assistant director Tofazzal Hossain. The organizers said to continue such activities in the future.
