Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina awarded the honorary 'Rashtrapati Police Padak (PPM)' medal to Gaibandhar Superintendent of Police Mohammad Kamal Hossain for his bravery and heroic deeds.
He was awarded the A PPM medal by the Prime Minister on the first day of Police Week-2024 at Rajarbagh Police Lines on Tuesday (February 27).
Since joining Gaibandha district, under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Kamal Hossain, 7 police stations have been working to improve the overall situation by adopting comprehensive strategies to recover drugs, weapons, and protect law and order. Most of the time Gaibandha district is hot due to various reasons Sometimes the heated gay bandha in politics seems to be blowing a breeze of peace.
Also, by playing an important role in Gaibandha district to make the recently passed twelfth national parliament election free, fair, impartial and acceptable, he has become a vessel of people's trust and confidence.
As a result, it is known that he has been selected to receive the PPM medal based on the review of various data.
The award is given annually in four categories – BPM Gallantry and Service and PPM Gallantry and Service. BPM-PPM title is added to the end of the name of those who are awarded this rank.
Honorable Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina presented this honorary medal to Superintendent of Police Kamal Hossain at Rajarbagh Police Lines Parade Ground in Dhaka.
