CMP Commissioner Krishna Pad Roy, BPM (Bar), PPM (Bar) inaugurated the newly constructed Traffic Police Box in Mohra under Chandgaon Police Station, Muradpur under Panchlaish Police Station and Oxygen area of Bayezid Bostami Police Station.
Yesterday afternoon, he visited the three police stations one by one and opened the police boxes through various programs.
In the briefing with the journalists present during the inauguration, he said, our traffic members are on duty in very hostile clothes in winter-summer-monsoon. Since they have to stay on the streets all the time, they do not have a proper place to pray and freshen up or use the washroom.
Female police colleagues in particular face more problems. CMP has taken this initiative keeping their words in mind.
He expressed hope that a good working environment will encourage the traffic police to fulfill their professional duties.
